Live performance for Prism-isms
13min 9sec
April 2018

A live experiment with semi-autonomous software instruments reinterpreting my Diffraction/grating piece. These seven timbres—corresponding to the common ROYGBIV of the visible spectrum—weaved in and out of the soundscape while real-time visualization translated the sound back into a color projection. Seven colored, triangular prisms monitored the activity of each instrument with a single large triangle above in the blended "color" the audience was hearing at that moment.

From a live performance as part of Andrew Yang's show Prism-isms at Roman Susan gallery in Chicago, IL USA on April 28th, 2018.
