A performance by Beate Geissler, Brian Kirkbride & Oliver Sann with Kayla Anderson on Oct 13, 2019 at Fort Defiance Park in Cairo, Illinois. Integrating The Death of Virgil by Hermann Broch and We Share Our Mother's Health by The Knife. A Totentanz of sorts, inviting death to join us at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers at sunset.
This event was part of the public programming for the exhibition Confluence Ecologies at the University Museum of Southern Illinois University by Deep Time Chicago.
